Working with children with behaviours that challenge

The School Programme package aims to strengthen school staff understanding by providing the necessary tools when working with children with behaviours that challenge, executive functioning, sensory and social communication differences.

We offer a free first programme, and a nominal cost will be applied for subsequent programmes.

Programme 1, the following topics are covered:

  • What behaviours that challenge look like in the classroom and what strategies are different when additional needs are highlighted
  • To unpick the complexity behind the challenging behaviours some children display
  • To look at how some of these behaviours can be:
    • Avoided
    • De-escalated
    • Improved over time

The programme will be led by professionals with demonstrated experience and knowledge.
