Donna Price Director of Operations (Founder member)

Donna Price – Director of Operations (Founder member)

Donna serves as the Director of Operations. Her role is to manage and oversee the overall functioning of Behaviour Support Hub operations, including finances, staffing, policies, marketing, services and forward planning.

Donna began her career by working in retail for ten years, eventually rising to the position of store manager. She switched to office employment after having her first child, a son, to have more flexibility to be with her family. Donna went on to have a daughter, and her son was diagnosed with ASD at the age of five. By the time her son was nine years old, things had got so challenging for Donna that she had to take a work hiatus in order to be there for both of her children. She worked with Home Start as a volunteer during her career sabbatical. Additionally, she met Claire, and that is where Behaviour Support Hub had its start. Donna’s son, daughter, and the Behaviour Support Hub are still going strong eight years later.

Donna has two children and is married. She has a daughter, age 14, and a son, age 17, who has been diagnosed with ASD and anxiety. Her two great passions in life are them both. She feels lucky to have a career that she loves! She enjoys watching a good box set, spending time with family and friends, and watching the sunset at the beach.

What motivates Donna, she says, “I don’t want other parents to go through the various systems as blind as I was at the beginning.” She says, “I want to help and empower as many parents as possible to get the best for their children.” She is passionate about the Behaviour Support Hub and all that it stands for.

In her community, Claire has held a variety of volunteer positions, and she continues to serve in an active volunteer capacity as the Chairwoman at her local community village hall.

Claire is passionate about supporting and empowering parent carers of children with neurodiverse conditions, helping to raise awareness, reducing stigma and giving parents a voice.  She believes every parent has the right to understand and support their children.
