Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA)
As part of the autism diagnosis, PDA is becoming an area that lots of people are talking about.
Although not formally diagnosed in Wales, many parents can liken some of their child’s behaviours to the criteria of PDA.
By attending this workshop, learners will develop an understanding of what Pathological Demand Avoidance is and how this presents, as well as develop some strategies to support the child/young person and encourage the adult to adapt their response.
We offer a 3-hour workshop and there is NO requirement for diagnosis.
All workshops can be delivered in person or online.
A cost will apply to professionals only.
