Parent carer wellbeing programme
A programme designed to improve parent carers’ health and wellbeing by promoting empowerment, confidence, and resilience.
Most parent carers put the needs of their children first. Parent carers of children with additional needs have even less time and energy to focus on their own physical and mental health and wellbeing.
We offer a 4-week programme and sessions will last approximately 2 hours.
Sessions aim to shine a light on parental mental health and alleviate some of the problems by offering parent-led respite activities, specialised counselling, and wellbeing workshops.
Such as; relaxation techniques, craft activities and information on stress and anxiety.
The details of this programme are a moveable feast and subject to change depending on the seasons and the situation of participants.
All programme sessions will be delivered by fully trained facilitators.
